Lagarde has warned the eurozone debt crisis was taking a toll on Africa and the rest of the world

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde (right) and South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan address a news conference in Pretoria on January 6. Lagarde has met President Jacob Zuma, wrapping up a visit to South Africa in which she warned that the global growth outlook is likely to be lowered.
