SC tops, NC second-best in jobs from foreign investments

North Carolina is No. 2 in a new ranking of the top 20 states for attracting jobs through foreign investment, the Triangle Business Journal reports. The only state ranking higher is neighboring South Carolina.

The report, based on 2011 data, was prepared by the IBM (NYSE:IBM) Institute of Business Value, which takes an annual look at global relocation trends.
